I’m a huge Holyfield fan, but for me I think Ali is horrible style-wise for Evander. I think Evander excels vs aggressive punchers like Foreman, Tyson...etc., but struggles with faster fighters who won’t engage like Byrd, Larry Donald...etc. I know the two fights I mentioned took place later in his career, but I can’t recall Evander ever looking at his best against speedy, defensively minded boxers. This is one disagreement I would be happy to lose though, as I hold Evander in very high regard.
