If Jones Jr can come in lite and pick up a trinket, 65' Ali cruises it. He clowns Wilder.

Pomp Roy weighing around 195 against Ali would have been a fascinating style matchup.

Maybe on their best day some of the fighters mentioned could beat that version of Ali but they are never going to be greater than him.

What he achieved in his career would be more than all of them rolled up in one.

True, there is a difference between 'the best' and 'the greatest' in sport.

Riddick Bowe was the best on 13th November 1992.

Joe Frazier was also a greater man then Ali on multiple occasions. For me Joe was class.

Damn straight Beanz. You are so right. Joe was class and how ironic he had to take so much vitriol and insults from Ali. George Foreman gave so much respect to Frazier and showed far more class to Joe than Ali did.

Styles makes fight. That version of ALI would be dangerous for any HW of any era but is by no mean indestructible. I could see a giant HW like the Klishko brothers in their prime giving him any kind of troubles with size and jab. Not saying they would beat him, but they have all the tools to do so.

I would love to see a prime Holyfeild, Holmes and Lewis against him think those would be some interesting fights. I think Lewis at his best can beat any heavyweight alive just had the size, power and boxing talent to do it.
