What kind of a contest is this? I don't understand what is happening. Can someone please fill me in? Or maybe I'm not getting the British humor. Is this even an actual contest thread or just a preliminary to a contest?

Aren't those actual schedule fights?
Alpha will update the fight schedule in the first page. You can pick whatever fights you want. You dont need to pick a winner from all of them. You pick a winner and whether they win on points or by stoppage. Each result your record gets updated. So overtime you build up a record.
If another user picks a fighter you can challenge them if you want to take the other opponent. Eventually we will have several users with titles and you can win the title by challenging them or potentially champs could unify.
New idea but its pretty cool and looking forward to seeing how it takes off.
Thanks a lot buddy now I understand it. I guess my only question is if you just keep picking the fighters that you think will win and how they will win but you never challenge anybody can you wind up with more points than somebody who is actually a title holder or a champion?
Simple answer, no. Your record may look good but you will not gain as many points. If you win a challenge, you win the amount of points your opponent (member) had entering the challenge.
Challenges are first in first serve, they are automatically accepted, and only work on a one on one basis.
They live, We sleep
I'm tardy but what's new. For January going
Spence Jr tko
Easter tko
Kiram upsets the 147 party of Mattyhsse. Scratched a hole in my head on that one but upsets need to start somewhere .
Usyk on points
So basically you can win a few points by picking the fighter who wins but you win more points by challenging someone and if you win the challenge then you should have steal all of their points and they lose all of their points? @Alpha sorry I am just not good at Game Theory
They keep their points but you win the amount they entered the challenge with. e.g. Master has 112 points at the moment, by the time him and Silkyjoe have their challenge with the Uysk/ Breidis fight they could both be on about 130 - 150 points. The winner will earn the amount of points the other had entering the challenge. The loser only loses points for the wrong prediction, not all their points.
They live, We sleep
Okay I think I got it now thank you so much for that Alpha. When did these fights start? I better go back to page one and start putting in my pics. I can't believe master and silky already have points I must have missed the start of this. Anyway I will just be picking Fighters that I think will win and the manner in which I think they will win. I know I can never win any title or Championship like that but I will just ease my way into this and then maybe start to challenge people
