Really looking forward to that Thurman fight. Lots of people give him crap for hiding from Spence for years but with opponents like Returns he deserves respect. Returns is sure to make a fight of it.

Not one naff fight (of those already made) and it's good to see Spence isn't disappearing for a year, about time these Haymon fighters got active.
Hurd-Lara goes like the Trout fight.
Jack gets rid of Stevenson for good.
Broner should look good against Figueroa who he won't be able to miss and won't be giving away natural strength/power.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I'm thinking Stevenson sparks Jack, Lara decisions Hurd and Figueroa out hustles Broner.

I have been a fan of Figueroa for a long time and I’m not a fan of Broner whatsoever, so obviously I hope that Figueroa destroys him.

Last I saw of Broner he was throwing a piss fit outside of Barclay and forced to apologize. So Gervonta Davis is 'back' to lightweight and handed a set up second chance for the same trinket he gave up on? I liked Billy Dib best when Gradovich was pummeling him.
The Hurd-Lara fight and Jack-Stevenson fight interest me most. Hurd is a very big man for that weight, and he fights like it. That may play into Lara's hands though, and he may walk into counters all night and end up stopped from accumulation of punishment. That being said, Hurd brings great pressure and may be able to break Lara mentally if he isn't prepared for that grueling of a fight.
I can't stand Stevenson, but the guy is athletic, punches from unexpected/awkward angles, is accurate with the left, and has legitimate one punch power. Jack is solid and can crack a little as well, and possesses better fundamentals than Adonis, who started boxing later in life. As much as I hate to admit it, I have a feeling Stevenson wins this one. Hope I'm wrong.
Cruz vs mares is interesting
It is, the first fight was fun with both guys throwing loads of leather. Santa Cruz was just better. I still like Mares a bit, faded on him a little when he dodged the Gonzalez rematch but prefer him to Santa Cruz. I hope he can make the adjustments needed to pull out the victory here. He was full on in the first fight, I think he needs to pull back a bit and set up his shots. His pressure was great but he was getting picked off.
I don't really care who wins the Broner/ Figueroa fight. Both guys seem spoiled and entitled. I like Figueroa, he's all action, the outside issues tho have already started to affect him in the ring.
