Darts is massive here now mate and spreading across Europe. It sells out 10,000+ seater arenas. It's a proper night out ! Second biggest viewing figures now for a sport in UK after football (soccer !). The standard of the best players now is insane.

Yeh I can totally see that. Don't know enough to knock or love it as 'sport' but played some in school and fun stuff. Today anything can be produced but it is a real competition with individuals. Here it sounds like the network is banning what helped make it? You add on some pomp, some theme music for competitors, maybe an arse wiggle from a Tecate beer gal and genuinely good sport and game played..now that's entertainment! Reminds a lot of pro billiards

Yeh very similar, almost a cultish type following though not sure pool is as big as it was in 80's. They've certainly tried to sexy up women billiards with more than a few knowing the appeal. Went searching for dart and pool players and even ran across bikini billiards. Also here in the States we once had a great thing called Lawn darts growing up . Though they were banned as too many drunks got impaled and the occasional house cat.
