anthony mundine would crush joe calzaghe with a easy points decision victory.

The thing is...no one really knows how good Bika actually is...do they?

He was good enough to batter Beyer (as did Kessler!!! Whoooooooooo hoooooo!!!!)...he was good enough to stand toe to toe with Joe...

Before ripping Joe's performance...youv'e got two options that you should really consider above all else.

#1: Not you, not Wacko, not anyone really knows how good Bika actually is...do they? Apparently Calzaghe does.

#2: Calzaghe's come this far...& it hasn't been based just on luck. It's a shame to hear everyone rip into him.

Not that Bika was a challenge of challenges...but Calzaghe suffers from "Mayweather Syndrome".

No matter who he beats, how he wins, & what titles or belts adorn him people will always scorn him.
Sc for leading Calzcrappy's excuse campaign. Like I said it's funny how all of sudden Bika ain't a bum. If it was Jermain Taylor having this performance against Bika, I guarantee you Wack you wouldn't be saying "No one really knows how good Bika really is". You would of murder the boy. And Calzcrappy will never suffer from Mayweather Syndrome, cuz his resume is nowhere close to matching the top names Floyd has on his. You say "no matter who he beats", come on man he ain't beaten anybody that wasn't past there prime or was in over there head.

Im kinda glad he gave him a tough fight.

I hated all that showboating at the beggining of the fight
it was not even a cool type of showboating......

some showboating is cool but that was not it

To quote Russell Crowe in Gladiator, I'm surprised he ddin't go to each corner and scream "are you not entertained?" I'm not saying that he was at all impressive, but he won against a very tough man, and when he's next in against a boxer, watch him then. I'll still be here, blindly supporting my boy, and expoecting him to win every time. See ya in february for another dose of calzaghe bashing

Bika wasn't a bum. Bika had never been downed or out. He was Beyer's mandatory back when they fought. He was there for a reason. I wouldn't pass judgement on the kid that fast.

He suffers every time that he laces up & he's got a pretty good record for what he's accomplished but he has yet to gain the support of the crow.

That's such a broad blatant statement...that "anyone that he's beaten didn't have a chance, too green, too old...blah blah blah"

That can be passed over to any fighter.

    It's doo-doo.

Both of the two top guns of 168 did hella good tonigh.

Don't worry wack, if you're leading the campaign on Calzaghe, I'm the troops that go over the trenches and run blindly forward into enemy fire. CC from me will balance out VD's SC

    right back babe.

Here's the thing about Joe...he's fun to watch & he's fast flashy & skilled on top of being a mareketable comoditi for HBO...but I aint sure that I'm prepared to see him tossed in with Kess...atleast not until he devlops a working defense.

    Know what I mean?

Had to come back and post about this fight. Few points, firstly, this post is complete rubbish.

    1. Joe Calzaghe went into that fight thinking Bika was 2nd rate. All this talk recently of Calzaghe being the greatest ever British fighter- when he went into that ring- he was taken in by his own hype and as a result he fought the completely wrong fight. There were a few time this fight became an all out punch up and Joe, hands down, walked onto numerous flush shots. If it proves anything, he has got a good chin!!

    2. Joe is much better than this fight made out, we all know that. As Barry MgGuigan said, styles make fights and Bika's style mixed with Joe's southpaw style made for a very rough fight. Bika is a hell of a strong guy!

    3. We've never seen Joe cut and bruised like that- I'd say mostly the result of head butts, some were deliberate- that Bika is one dirty fighter.

    4. Joe admitted he fought the wrong fight and as MgGuigan said, once you've made a gameplan error, it is hard to go back to normal boxing in the middle of a fight. The times Joe did box, Bika was outclassed. I think if there was a rematch, Joe would stop this fella if he played it right. Although he did win this one by a clear margin so not all bad!!

    5. Joe Calzaghe is 34, he ain't got long left before age gets to him- he needs a big fight in his next fight to unify the titles would do him justice.

You mean you think he's still a bit green, being at the beginning of his career like he is, and he may one day develop into a superb fighter when/if he learns some defensive skills? So he needs to fight some journeymen for a while before he steps up to fight the greats, so he has time to learn? That what you mean? :P

You know what. Maybe Calzaghe wouldn't be come down so hard if all them if all them Calzaghe fans weren't hyping this guy to beat Roy and Hopkins and everything else because of his victory against Jeff Lacy He was sio hyped up beyond belief OVER LACY!!! And now that its been shown how overhyped he was made you talk about 'nobody knows how good Bika is'

I may as well say that of the guy that Zab fought(right after the Spinks fight) I may as well say "No one knows how good he really is"

Please! If you still think Calzaghe could hang with the likes of Jones and Hopkins you're dreaming. And trying to upgrade Bika like he's the next second coming to Calzaghe is insulting. As good as ya'll hyped Calzaghe to be and now you're saying Bika is soo good I guess he could beat James Toney then right?

Bika is horrible... he barely won a round convincgly... what he did do well was spoil and make Calzaghe look bad using his strength.

I just hope you make your opinions now as clear as you can so that you can't deny them in the future Starr.

I'll start listening when you get over Mayorga/Naseem/Judah... :P
