That boss was a very uncaring person. What an absolutely unhelpful self-absorbed piece of garbage. Two workers ask for his guidance and he cannot even be bothered to walk out and look with his own eyes? That is one of the worst bosses I have ever heard of

..and addressing the issue. Believe it or not you can die on a job and not even know it. Next thing you know you turn around, you're in your 40's with daily stress with no idea of what happened to the last 10+ years. I've started telling all of the younger workers coming in to save some for yourself. Just means that no matter how deep the hole is you find yourself or overwhelmed you feel, you have to have something left to offer when you go on to bigger things, and you will. Hectic work loads need a starting and stopping point and separation or they just blur together and you spiral downward and crash. Good managers or team leaders recognize their people in trouble and solutions can be as simple as a day off but more so them acknowledging you work and insuring there is proper delegation and team effort so as not to burn out valuable employees. Nothing wrong with putting your feet up and taking the earned time off either. Time, our time, is something we will never get back after all. Good luck!
