Actually agree with you on this, Sonia. Calzaghe doesn't belong on this list. Considering he's still waiting for his first big win

CC 4 U!!!! Why does everyopne think that the win over Lacy was such a big deal
because he was hyped up to be next mike tyson it was good win come on give him some credit

A good win yes and a good performance but lets be real for a minute here....Lacy was/is no P4P greatest fighter....He had half the fights of Joe...Not a great Boxer...No master defensive specialist....Never beat a guy who was P4P or close to it....It was a good performance against a slightly above average guy.........Anyone who thinks Calzaghe would perform like that against Hopkins, Wright, Tarver, is talking out of their a**.....A great win is a win over a top guy who they were big underdogs against....EG--Forest/Mosley,,Douglas/Tyson,,Spinks/Ali....Not a prospect who has the potential to be the next someone...they have to actually be someone.....Joe is a good fighter but a win over Lacy meant nothing than just that a win
NO ONE was saying that SHIT before the calzaghe fight. Just get over it and admit the calzaghe schooled him and some of the americans on here are still in total denial about it and have been living in a fantasy world since.

Dig up all the threads from before the fight and lets see if anyone said what you have just said, if you want. I assure you that nobody said that.

You can not find one post of mine in any thread where I praised Lacy....The best I have ever said about him is he is strong and if he dropped down in weight and lost some bulk he would have a good career ahead of him....So get over your some Americans crap.....Show me the proof of my post or Shut Up....Big Deal Joe beat Lacy in a one sided affair. AGAIN WHO DID LACY EVER BEAT?...HOW WAS LACY A P4P FIGHTER HE HELD A TITLE IN THE SECOND WEAKEST DIVISION IN BOXING....Gatti a fighter I love has held titles in two divisions but is in no way an all time P4P fighter...Floyd's one sided win over him didn't add to Mayweather...It was just another win in a line of good wins....Mayweather though I can't stand his arrogant attitude at least has wins over..Gatti, Corrales, Augustus, Judah, Manfredy,....Name two top caliber opponents has Calzaghe beat??...And not super middleweight top...World class top...And prime...Lacy was not that opponent

How about Greg Haugen over an unbeaten Camacho? Even though he was stripped of the win and the tittle later he did tecnically beat him and its not like he used any performance inhansing drugs (weed) eather. Not to mention back then the macho man was a very respectable champion.

Yeah cc for the post. This Calzaghe is "A Boxing God" bullshit is getting. Fuck that has gotten old. Calzaghe Beat a prospect who was in over his head. He dominated him, I'll give him that. But that shouldn't make his win bigger than it is. And you can also look up my old threads and not find anything hyping up Lacy.

Mayorga as well never won except against Vernon really... also Glen Johnson vs. RJJ, Tarver vs. RJJ
