He's not my favourite and he certainly ain't the best but I'm gunna give Katsidis a shout out, he was pure value for money, a proper warrior.

Oh, for fuck's sake
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
So we are talking about white Americans or Europeans I’m assuming. Russians don’t count? Or do they?
It’s tough so I will have to do new and old. In the modern era, I would say Calzaghe is best. Olden era Greb definitely takes it resume wise, but I’ve obviously never seen him fight. Benny Leonard would be next. If it’s someone I’ve seen a lot of film on, it would be Marciano.
Is Monzon not " White"?
Pep, Ross, Canzoneri, McLarnin. Does Basilio count?
They live, We sleep
Brian Nielsen
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
I totally forgot about Pep! How did that happen? He is easily #1 for me. He is my #3 p4p ever.
Should Jewish fighters count?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Harry Greb went 45-0, totaling 452 rounds... in 1919 alone!
Greb is not only the best white boxer, he may be the greatest boxer of all time. He never avoided black boxers, unlike many during his time. He was a middleweight who fought everybody including heavyweights. He was robbed by judges a few times, so his record should be even better. His only real losses came to bigger men.
Honorable mention to Rocky Marciano, Gene Tunney, Tony Canzoneri, Wladimir Klitschko, Mickey Walker, Joe Calzaghe, Jimmy McLarnin, Willie Pep, Tommy Ryan, and Young Corbett III.
Ricky Hatton, just loved how he fought.....here's is a reminder
Have to give Jimmy Wilde a nod. Leonard was masterful. Personal fav and recent has to be Johnny Tapia.
All the years I've enjoyed Tapia....I never knew what race/ethnicity he was LOL! I just spent 20 minutes trying to find out who is parents were...and since he always had the spanish moniker: Mi vida loca....wasn't sure.
So thanks!!!
Tapia is my top.
Honors to Italian Stallian-Gatti, the Irish Ward whom I got to hang out with...even called him my lil' Bro...he dug it! & Welsh Calzaghe- the true energizer bunny.
& Tex Cobb for taking beatings like it was just a french tickler nipping at his beard...His beard.
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!
