I saw his fight vs. Silverio Ortiz which he lost and was given a gift decision this by far was one of the worst robberys I've seen it's worst then Bobby Pac vs. Carlos Hrndz. it was such a bad call both of the announcers commented on how disgusted they were to have even been a part of the fight (as far as commentating) one of the announcers when as far as busting a Teddy Atlas on the commission and asking the pres. how could he let something like this happen.

Honestly Diaz was out husstled by Ortiz that night Ortiz was the better fighter but unfortunately bad judging runied that fight.
Hadn't seen that one, but I can't say it surprises me.. Diaz' recent win over Santa Cruz wasn't exactly some stellar performance either, he was getting badly beaten until he managed to pull off the big shot.

But where is the big money for him? For some reason I just doubt a Barrera fight will happen. As much as I like to watch Juan Diaz fight, is he really big money, either way he, or his team, don't seem interested in stepping up yet. Julio Diaz isn't big money. Freitas is retired. Castillo's gone to 140. Would have to be a 130 pounder moving up, but who? Even though it wouldn't be huge money, I'd rather see him fight Barrios than Diaz.
Wrong Diaz, your confusing Juan 'Baby Bull' Diaz with David Diaz.
David Diaz jusy beat Armando Santa Cruz.
And you also mentioned Julio 'The Kid' Diaz.....shet!! now I'm confused!!!

Dosn't matter. All 3 Diaz lose to Casamayor
But Julio has the best chance of winning!
I don't think highly of Julio, Juan's still a work in progress but I think he would have the best chance IMO cause he might make Casamayor feel his age just by being relentless and throwing about a 1000 punches. Julio would just try to outbox Casa, and he's not nearly as good a boxer.

I think Julio wipes the floor with Juan, & IMO I think Julio is just as good a boxer as Casamayor.

Guess well just have to disagree then

Never seen a fight where I was really impressed with Julio. Guess IMO his best showing was against Castillo. He just got caught cold versus Pollo Valenzuela but for some reason I always think of the Courtney Burton fight. Yeah he came back to KTFO Burton (who doesn't) but he looked pretty mediocre for most of the fight.

cc bro, Julio has always impressed me... he dominated Burton ( & Burton was still a force at that point) got robbed against Manfredy & put in a great effort against Castillo. I think he is the best competition @ 135 for Casamayor
