They don't have a big embassy here or many diplomats, as they don't see the UK as important.

We already have sanctions against them, so we can't do that anyway.

The State can't simply boot individuals out and take their property. London is the biggest investment city on earth and it has the most foreign billionaires here. If we suddenly decided the rule of law didn't apply to them, they would take their money elsewhere. I wouldn't be happy knowing that the governement feel they can just take people's stuff.

In any case, having all those Russian billionaires here spending all the money thay have stolen from Russians really annoys Putin, so we should encourage them

The truth is that there is fuck all we can do to hurt Russia, and they know it.
