When George Washington stepped down as president after two terms the news was given to King George (I think George the 5 but u guys would know better) George 5 said he will be known as the greatest man who ever lived. He couldn't comprehend giving up power. It would seem Putin of Russia and Xi of china are getting to a tsar and emperor mindset. Putins opponents either drop dead or are banned from running against him.
