Don't Feel Bad or Embarassed for Mike Tyson!!

Ive been reading a lot of posts about people saying "thats just sad" ETC RE: Mike Tyson's World Tour.

Its like our society has been conditioned to hate this guy for some reason eventhough we continue to watch butt loads of really bad reality TV and pay millions of dollars to things like Bum Fight Videos.

Sure Tyson has shown us nothing but nuttiness and disappointment.. but look at this Tour for what it is... entertainment... nothing different than a boxing version of a reality show. I'd rather watch this world tour than the contender any day.

I am personally pretty damn excited about this tour.. call it nostalgia if you must, thats fine... thats probably got a lot to do with it. But its TYSON!! If it werent for this guy the heavyweight division's downfall would be been a lot longer ago than NOW. Heavyweight fighting, unless you are a purist or real fan... is suffering. But when Tyson was around everyone knew about him, and everyone knew he was the champ.

Ask someone on the street today who the champ is? If they dont know ask them to name the most famous heavyweight champ.

I wonder if these fights are going on his record or if they are just like sparring sessions. Well Mikes finally found something to do and I am very happy for him.

i read once that foreman fought like 20 guys in one day or something like that in an exhibition.

Well I don't watch reality shows because it's a waste of my time. Tyson had his time, this is just sad.

Guys, is there a schedule or an itineray for this world tour - is he coming to Britain?

I, for one, would gladly pay to go and watch.

It would be somthing you tell your grandkids - "I saw Iron Mike Tyson in the flesh"

fuck yeah i would still go and see tyson. i would definately buy the PPV. i remember paying the fifteen quid for the tyson julius francis fight and then tyson just thrashed him and it was over in the second. but still money well spent for a tyson fight. exciting stuff
