I can see how it was tom-tit for anyone expecting brutal violence but from a boxing/career view it was an impressive, improved performance.
He showed tons of maturity (the Wlad fight has made a big impression), no leaving himself open by rushing-in looking for combos, no punching himself out, instead he employed a consistent Lennox-esque jab throughout (bet the stats are above average for a heavyweight), controlled the pace/distance and never gave Parker a sniff (Tyson Fury gets called a master boxer for that stuff
).
I saw people complaining about the scores. What? Parker didn't (couldn't) do eff-all, he "won" a couple of sympathy rounds at best. His corner were delighted at the end that he went the distance, sparring with Malik Scott all camp became apparent.
