AJ has not been wobbled like Wilder has from light punchers.
AJ has far better skills than Wilder.
Remember fans were booing Wilder against Ortiz. Selective memory from fans.

Is it me or just because the Ortiz fight ended in KO people forgot it was a "shit performance" by Wilder? Wilder looked far worse in his fight. I don't think Joshua deserves the slack he is getting for this fight. Parker is an undefeated champion, and a slick fighter who showed good skill but didn't want to engage in exchanges, for obvious reasons. I was most impressed with AJ's footwork in this fight, he is able to evade punches using only his feet, stepping in out, which is unual for a guy his size. If he fights a disciplined fight like this against Wilder he will take him.
People also forget that Widler never fought someone who can hit like AJ, While Aj has fought Wlad, who also has a monstrous right hand, which AJ took well.
I will preface by saying anything can happen in a heavyweight fight, especially with two punchers in the ring, but if i had to bet i'd say AJ becomes undisputed when they meet.
Parker for all his talk fought scared , he always had not getting hit hard on his mind when he threw punches.
118 - 110 against a young unbeaten fighter is hardly a bad performance , Joshua has had 21 fights most have been KO'S so you have to learn on your feet.
Wilder has a punchers chance against anyone.
Can anyone enlighten me on why people think Fury toys with AJ or even Wilder? It's all I have heard since last night. Are people actually willing to ignore 90% of Fury's career where he has looked like another plodding heavyweight.
As for AJ. He looked good last night. Boxed really well. Jabbed well. I actually think the referee hindered him by not letting him fight on the inside. He was letting some good shots go that missed by inches on the rare occasions he was able to throw.
I still think Wilder troubles him although I think the fight would be much more edgy than people think. I don't think it would be exciting. It would be a lot of posturing before probably ending in explosive fashion. Not sure who I'd pick at this stage. AJ is the much better boxer and probably has similar power but Wilder is just so unpredictable in his movements and hits so hard that you're only a second away from disaster against him.

AJ just used his jab to win Parker seemed to be worried about getting hit this fight promised
a lot but delivered very little in entertainment value.
Remember its boxing I was disappointed with the fight the right guy won as Wilder goes still fancy AJ to win.
Exactly!
I've never understood the Fury bandwagon. Other than him being the one to end Wlad's long reign, he's a one-hit wonder. The Wlad fight was the worst HW title fight in the history of boxing... and he's done nothing since, but implode. Talks a lot, like Haye, but little else. Frankly, I think he gets soundly beaten by both AJ and Wilder. For those who don't remember, Wlad threw about 4 punches per round against Fury. Don't think that would happen against either of the current champs.
Fury became extremely overrated after the Wlad win. AJ is the same thing I believe. Wlad was never that great but just a product of an awful division and he was old in those fights.
I don’t see why just this fight proves anything about AJ. He looked about as impressive in this fight as he has in the rest of his fights. He isn’t a comes forward fighter really. Sure, against stiffs he will, but he has shown that he is more of a boxer. I’m not saying AJ is awful but I’m not under some delusion that he is great by any means. Maybe he will eventually prove me wrong.
My mrs was moaning after the fight saying it was shite and that AJ wasn’t very good etc... she knows FA and only watches AJ because he’s “fit as fk and I bet he has a right big cock” etc ...
i said after that was a quality performance from AJ, Joseph came to lose on points and not get knocked out, all AJ could do was box him and use his jab. As folks have mentioned he’s a different animal post Wlad. Almost like he wants to be the new WLad, establish his jab, not get drawn in, defend his belts at home and make it hard for people to come to the uk and beat him. I’m ok with that, good luck to him

For me, a contender for worst heavyweight title fight in history would be AJ vs Charles Martin
Does Wilder know how to maintain distance and move around?
If he can do that and land keeping Joshuas chances of getting close to minimum, then has has a chance.
