Thing that annoys me is that everyone wants to see the Wilder fight, they want a unified heavyweight champion yet the belts throw these mandatory challengers in and potentially delay the real fight, what happens once after this one, someone will probably demand that he fights the 10th ranked fighter or risk losing his belt, I think that Eddie Hearn has already said that he will most likely have to drop one of the belts but he is just hoping they can get the Wilder fight sorted before it comes to that.

Failed bids made were from K2 Promotions ($7,130,000) and Povetkin's promoter Sauerland Event ($6,014,444). It allowed Ryabinsky to dictate the location of the fight and guaranteed the fighters the biggest purses of their careers.
