Thing that annoys me is that everyone wants to see the Wilder fight, they want a unified heavyweight champion yet the belts throw these mandatory challengers in and potentially delay the real fight, what happens once after this one, someone will probably demand that he fights the 10th ranked fighter or risk losing his belt, I think that Eddie Hearn has already said that he will most likely have to drop one of the belts but he is just hoping they can get the Wilder fight sorted before it comes to that.

Povetkin won’t be taking any step aside cash. The Russians will be trying to win purse bids and take AJ to one of the Eastern bloc countries.
If Povetkin has anything left, those guys have got some serious cash.
When he fought Klitschko, their purse bid blew everything out of the window! And that was when K2 promotions used to win every purse bid going.
I’ll bet Hearn is shitting himself.

NO, Eddie would be happy if AJ gets £20 million and he gets his cut on top of that going to Russia. AJ can be the British Rocky.

Explain to me, how does Hearn get “his cut”?

Promoter Vladimir Hryunov won the right to promote Klitschko vs. Povwetkin with a purse bid of $23,333,330 and Russian businessman Andrey Ryabinsky putting up the money. Failed bids made were from K2 Promotions ($7,130,000) and Povetkin's promoter Sauerland Event ($6,014,444). It allowed Ryabinsky to dictate the location of the fight and guaranteed the fighters the biggest purses of their careers. Based on being entitled to 75 percent of the winning bid, Klitschko got $17,499,997, while Povetkin received $5,833,333.[60] The Klitschko camp were said to be surprised by the bid.[61]
