London is still one of the greatest cities in the world. If you don't like it nobody is forcing you to go there. I go there to work sometimes and have family who live there and the amount of rubbish spoken about it on here is beyond ridiculous. I can understand Alan Miles not liking it, most Northerners don't like it, because it has electricity, there are not enough Greggs for them, there is no gravy on the chips and they don't get to moan about how poor and overlooked they are. Why all the Americans here are even bothered by the ethnic makeup of what has always been a melting pot, is beyond me. Is there a new prescribed racial purity level even for capital cities now or is it just because Trump can't keep his nose out of other countries business to distract from his own problems they feel obliged to follow suit? or is it because the mayor of London is a Muslim?
I don't think Americans realise that the directly elected Mayor of London has only been a thing since 2000. London has had three. Ken Livingstone, Boris Johnson and now Sadiq Khan. Nobody thinks Sadiq Khan is a great statesman or genius, many people here even Labour supporters think him an idiot, it's just that Boris and Ken were both just as bad, in fact worse in many ways, an Etonian bufoon and what you would all call a raging commie. He is not the Lord Mayor and Trump just makes himself look daft by even bothering to mention him. It's an incredibly frivolous way for a President to behave.
