If money is the only objective and that is your sole motivation then go for it, but don't be disingenuous about it or pretend that you are serious about cleaning up MW. Canelo didn't earn a shot at the MW champ in the first place, but then again neither did Kell Brook. All I am saying is that GGG shouldn't be surprised when 18 months later he gets scalped by someone he should have stopped NOW.

It's only a career high payday because he's spent the last 2 years begging for the fight. if in the last 12 months he had beaten BJS , Jacobs , Charlo , come this September , he could've been fighting for the money that he would get v Canelo.

Since the place is slow I’ll add,,,,I had said I wasn’t a Charlo fan. And the longer I heard excuse after excuse why GGG shouldn’t fight him I could feel myself becoming a Charlo fan. Yesterday I watched hours of interviews where they aren’t being heels, and a couple post fight press conferences. When these guys are just smiling being themselves they seem like really good guys. I can no longer say I am not a fan.

the only thing I Mildly disagree with about that is the "obvious win." I'm not saying he never won, but in my book it was close enough to give a draw, which is how I saw it at the time. Everything else is 100% spot on.
