BJS will continue the bum tour until he gets the payday fight
Hopefully Jacobs and Charlo fight because that at least means something and it’s the only meaningful fight that might happen this year.
Yea Jacobs/ Charlo would be awesome. I was hoping Derevyanchenko/ Andrade would get done, but everything's gone quiet on that one.

I wonder if Jacobs would consider Murata next?

I see Andrade being in the mix, mainly due to his high ratings.

I'll believe Andrade will accept a big fight when I see it. He backed out of the Charlo fight, he turned down a GGG fight. He seems to want to talk about significant fights but not make significant fights.

Will the IBF force the mandatory after this, or the WBC, or even possibly the WBA? Or will they all step aside if Canelo wants the immediate rematch upon his return.

Theirs also the unification with BJS. Starting to get a bit of a backlog.
As I was saying, the IBF have now ordered the mandatory. If GGG wants to face Canelo next he'll have to drop the belt.

Won’t the rematch clause have priority?
Also if it’s the IBF he could make a BJS fight if he wanted. Their rules state unification takes priority.

    Is Derevyanchenko the IBF mandatory?

Yea he is the mando with the IBF. I think if they order it then a unification can't stop it. Like how Tyson got stripped.

I wouldn't mind a Derevyanchenko fight. But it isn't at the top of my wish list.

He is now! Last fight May 2016 which was a loss to Lara, beat Ishe Smith, lost to Jermell Charlo, Andrade. All at light middle.
In 2007, just before I came back to Montana, I was going to the Wild Card two and three times a week. Martyrosian was training there and Mack, doorman/trainer, and Pepper Roach were saying they expected him to win world titles in six weight classes.

I think I understand this all now. The rematch clause has no weight while Canelo is suspended. So it’s irrelevant.

This might be the best news in the sport. Do GGG vs Derevyanchenko, Charlo vs Jacobs, BJS vs Canelo. Everyone wins.

GGG Canelo? How'd you have the fight sunshine? Or are you just about flooding the boards to see your name at the moment? Knock it off.
    You knock it off moonshine.

I had GGG winning the fight by 2 points. Perhaps you need some clarification. That's what I meant by barely got by.

Also a very paltry accusation you have made about flooding the boards.
Bud you want to cluster bomb the boards like a troll bot, to the point of even starting spam thread in the same run, then I'll certainly tell you about it.

Posts and threads of sometimes straight gibberish are same and you have a deleted graveyard of and you've been asked to curtail both fresh off your most recent ban. It's not all that complicated, cheers.

Saw where they put an August deadline on his mandatory shot. Really putting GGG in a corner 90 days out with thoughts of Canelo in September.

More and more I have zero interest in Canelo v Golovkin. I can't see Canelo back in Spent off year out and surgery just hopping back in with him either. Plenty of sharks in the 160 tank and frankly a win over a Charlo or Jacobs 2 surpasses one over Canelo at this point.

Agree completely. I’ve never considered Clanelo one of the best at 160. If he beats a BJS, Charlo, Jacobs. Then his position needs to be re-evaluated. But a win over Cotto doesn’t put him at the top. As I’ve always said he hid from 154 AND 160 at Claneloweight.

GGG needs to stop playing along. Frankly he doesn't need him. Still wondering how he gets to maintain ranking after suspension. Meanwhile Cuadras is bleached from all rankings and quite possibly gets identical time.

I see The Ring still have Canelo as champion, he should be removed as he is suspended.

You know who owns the Ring don't you?
