4:29 but Eddie why does it matter where the money comes from? “Because we don’t want to be whored out” my gawd this guy is so full of it
5:04 he has begun talking about the details that need to be worked out. No shit, that’s what negotiations are for after agreeing to fight
Terrible interview at 12:00 Eddie is talking about why he needs to insult Wilder and Finkell and such and slips in “I was responding to an email from Shirley today...” and now I am 14:30 in and nobody has said “you said you were only getting emails from Wilder” or “what was this email about?” Obvious questions to ask
At the end he has the nerve to repeat the verbal agreements are binding nonsense. That’s where that guy got it from it seems.
Can easily say “we agree only to the money, let’s negotiate the details” if that was actually a concern.
I can’t believe the nonsense you folks let him get away with saying without calling him on the BS.
Finkel's net worth is $300 000
Wilder is certainly not worth 50 Million Dollars.... and Matchroom ? What do you think Ron? so who is serious here and who are the chancers ?
No word from Haymon so you can't pretend that makes the daft rubbish go away.
So if Wilder says to Eddie show me the 20 million than Eddie shows him it. No Problem. Have a look Yourself.
As Eddie Hearn said recently:
"Deals aren't made on Instagram, they are made in the boardroom. But they don't want to see us in the boardroom. Weird."
Because he had no intention of agreeing to the offer. That is so f’n clear you won’t deny it.
Why meet someone to discuss an offer he had no intentions of agreeing to.
Again every day from offer to today “this is not the only way this gets done, it could be our offer, our split”
Joshua is the A side, it indeed could be done by their offer. But don’t play pretend. It’s clear he had no intention of their deal. It’s clear he knew where the fight would be, don’t pretend. We all knew. It’s clear he spoke with more than just Wilder, don’t pretend. And all these things have been demonstrated so fans should also stop pretending
I can go further on the pretending. He admits he is putting together a better offer for Wilder. That admits either he knows there is more money in this fight, because he isn’t going to take a loss. Or a flat fee isn’t good enough.
Before he pretended it was good against what he had made before. That’s obviously BS. Same as we’ve seen many times before. It takes 2 to build a fight and the 2nd deserves a percentage. Why PAC didn’t accept an offer that was 30 million more than he had ever made. Why GGG just laughed at the 10 flat offer from Canelo. Everyone knows you bank a best payday WITH the percentage of upside on a big fight. Acting like that isn’t how it’s done is pretending by ignoring history
Shit, who needs Wilder-Joshua.
This thread might be better than the fight.
They should all just fuck off and keep negotiations private and stay the fuck off social media until it is done.
It's all very very tedious.
More distractions. Always distractions because the truth is according to Eddie “Wilders team can easily go to a bank for the money”
All the way through from day one to today Eddie talked about “our offer, our split” I know you now recognize he had no intention of signing their offer. So go ahead and distract.
The truth is plain to see
He so had no intention that twice he arranged meetings in New York to get the deal done and Shirley and Wilder bottled it.
You said it was all about the money but Matchroom have the money and the product, the track record, everything. What is really about is credibility and you, Wilder and Finkels argument have none.
Your guy wouldn’t agree to the deal, that is fact. He never intended to is now obvious, can’t say fact because we can’t know what a person thinks who lies constantly.
So now Eddie will come back with a better offer he says. We KNOW Eddie wouldn’t agree, will be interesting to see if Wilder will agree.
I just hope his offer isn’t as crap as his first.
