Fair enough with the other 2 but over here most of the press knew Lennox was going to win because Tyson was smoking pot during his training camp.
These were early days in my beginning to follow boxing closely.
For the first round I thought he could actually do it and then the rest was history.
Well oh yeah anytime you start out seeing Tyson actually bobbing and weaving it hits that part of your brain where you remember just how dynamic of a fighter he was and then after that it was all "OOOOOOH yeah he's like 5'10 and once his head stops moving things aren't going to look so great"....tough bout to watch, but not as tough as others. What was tough was all the Tyson die hards even after losing to Lewis "Man if Mike gets back with Rooney man Mike would still be the boss of the division".......oh boy, those fellas were fun and the old "Nobody beats Tyson in his prime!" and you'd ask "OK, when was his prime?" and the response was always either "Well when he was with Cus" or "Before he fired Rooney"....so for 3 years from 0-0-0 to 35-0-0 Tyson was utterly and completely unstoppable and unbeatable.....now sure at the time and vs who he fought, yeah completely the record shows it, but let's not be foolish here other fighters would take Tyson the distance or stop him in that time period had they been around, nobody is invincible. If Ray Robinson and Joe Louis can lose then so could Tyson.
