It had a decent story, characters were all pretty good. Daniels cuz is a dick.

You feel bad for Johnny at times, and then others he brings it on himself.

You could see where the story was going to head but they did it well.

Interested to see season 2, to see what Johnny does, if he changes or is forced to be merciless.

It was a nostalgia trip and for that I loved it, some proper memory lane stuff. Some genuinely funny moments due to Johnny's stuck in the past no filter approach.

It did get to a point where I was wondering who the bad guy was. Diaz was never convincing as the bad guy, he was reluctant to say the least and kind of flipped at the death just to fulfil the role. Johnny's kid came good and Daniel and Johnny buried the hatchet to some degree.

I hope Johnny doesn't get pulled into Kreese's web. Pathetic and obvious I know, but I'd prefer to see him and Daniel team up and take down Kreese/Silver (is Terry Silver alive?) Daniels daughter has got to have a part to play in the second series.

Where did the rest of the Cobra Kai go? OK it was a couple of years after Karate kid 1 but they were nowhere to be seen in the competition Mike Barnes was in. Dutch, Bobby, Tommy, the Fat one, the black one, all jacked it in when the Cobra Kai went tits up? They should all come back to fight with Daniel and Johnny to take down the proper Cobra Kai dick heads, like in Best of the Best 2.

Dutch is Steve McQueen's son. Never knew that.

yep - Chad McQueen. Always wondered at the time when his name came up if he was related. I checked about 19 years later when I got boradband...

it was a proper nostalgia trip wasn't it and I echo your thoughts when I say I loved it for that - in fact when I got the man tears when he put the bandana on and old music score came on I'm wondering if it was the scene itself or me just longing for my youth and days gone by, though I guess they are one and the same

There's options to bring back the cobras, Terry Silver and Barnesy. Daniel could team up with Sato's nephew too as the Miyagido team. And Hilary Swank ? never saw that one and how it explained what had happened to Daniel ? Guess she's too big a name for this series.

What is Elizabeth Shue doing these days ? I bet she'd return
