Hilarious how he does this with a guy who has been dead more than 72 years ago. Like saying "Look! See?! Me not racist" while minorities, specially blacks, get treated differently compared to Caucasians. Why not do something about our CURRENT situation and how they get treated every day specially by police?

Sly Stallone has just said he's gonna make a movie about Johnson

Sylvester Stallone Reveals Plans To Make Film on Jack Johnson

Days after the presidential pardon of Jack Johnson, Sylvester Stallone has announced plans for a biopic on the first African-American heavyweight champion.
Stallone said Wednesday that his newly launched Balboa Productions will start with a film about Johnson. On Thursday, Stallone stood next to President Donald Trump in the Oval Office as he signed a rare posthumous pardon to Johnson, who served 10 months in prison in what Trump called "a racially-motivated injustice."
Trump has said Stallone was instrumental in bringing Johnson's story to his attention.
Stallone's production company said the film will be fast-tracked with Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures.
Stallone has said Johnson was the basis for the character Apollo Creed in the "Rocky" films. The 71-year-old actor is currently in production on "Creed II" with MGM.

The next round of voting in November may give an indication of change in support amongst non white voters since Trumps election.

The Orange Emperor God was boasting about the increase in black american employment. Is that true? I don't know.

Being cynical here but has Stallone just milked another movie for his own selfish gain?

Well, I suppose it is the outcome that matters isn't it?

Johnson was very very shabbilybtreated by the establishment (who he goaded unmercifully, to be fair). He was hounded around the country and they eventually got him under the Mann Act.

It is very unlikely, though not impossible, that Johnson was pimping out the white women with him. They were definitely prostitutes but Johnson and them a,ways said they were in a 'real' relationship. There was certainly room for reasonable doubt in his conviction

They wanted to join him because he was a threat to the hegemony, and it resulted in himfleeing the country for years and left him broke.

I am glad he has finally been pardoned

I wish the courtesy had been extended to him while he was alive, and I also wish that Joe Louis had been pardoned during his lifetime.

The government is only as good and pure as the people who run it and I'm not just talking about elected officials either. Pencil pushing bureaucrats can be vile bastards! Hell even your own fellow citizens can be vile bastards. After Communism died it's "official death" in the 90's people found out that the Stasi were being used by average citizens to wage their private battles against other citizens.

Anyway, good for Jack Johnson, good for Deontay Wilder for being there, good on Lennox Lewis for being there, and good on Trump for just doing the right thing in this case.
