Meh, was a stupid thing to say and not her first. It's Rosanne FFS. They should have seen this coming a mile away. Company considering the sure to happen again shit it will have to shoulder with an individual over a show. I feel worse for all (?) of the original cast who all managed to reboot.

This was the plan. Rosanne agreed to do it. Make a show that would be reported as popular with all trump fans then have the main star make a racist tweet and get the show cancelled which will remind everyone all trump supporters are deplorable racists.

Actually Roseanne balked at first. So show producers contacted Ambien to find out whether racist, sleepy people were given to make racist Tweets.
Then they hired an extra to slip an Ambien in her drink and prodded her with questions like, "So..... what do you think of Valerie Jarrett? Oh... that's peachy! It would make a great Tweet."

Nah, I know people won’t agree with me but ambien works similar to a benzodiazepine. Simlilar to a Xanax. It certainly can loosen lips and if u already have strange things in your head anything can come out. I don’t think stupid comments make someone a racist. I don’t care for Rose, I don’t do sitcoms but as far as I know she made a career out of edgy statements. If the ambien is true, and who knows, I’d give it a pass but I worked in the substance abuse field for years. I’ve seen plenty of people become violent under the influence that showed no sign of violence sober, seen suicide attempts in people who never had a history of it but took one hit of that fake weed shit and attempted it. If ABC thinks canceling the show is proper punishment so be it but I won’t dismiss her for one stupid tweet

Precisely. Like booze, these drugs can work a bit like a polygraph. Shit you've always thought but would never admit to thinking..... just come blurted out. A lot of people with racist thoughts manage to keep them reigned in while sober. But get a couple of drinks in them and that tongue gets on roller skates. Point is yeah it was a stupid comment.... and it highlights what she really thinks. I'm not saying cancel the show or anything..... but she needed to be called out in some way.
