    Gatti would have weighed like 180 by fight night, he would have squashed R-r-r-r-rios.


    Rios vs Acelino Freitas may have been worthwhile......Rios vs Chico Corrales would have been good. Zab Judah vs Rios would have been ok

    Id take Rios, probably a late stoppage, cuts likely. He had the output and better chin, which I think would count for the most given the type of fight it would be. Gatti had more skill, but not by enough to keep Rios off of him imo. He was fun, but anyone who thinks he was seriously top class at 140 is overrating him.

    I have to think Gatti wins this if he boxes. I think Gatti is too savvy for Rios even in an inside battle.

    Goes for Rios though who basically rose and fell over 2 years against far less than Gatti career wise. Alvarado looked like he went thru a windshield and had enough to hurt Rios multiple times and outbox him surprising people who thought he couldn't box it second time. The mental make up gap also massive. Just see Rios early playing the physical but Gatti beating him to punch.
