Elvis was a bit of a racist too. He would apparently have hated his daughter marrying a black man. Everyone has probably told a politically incorrect joke or said something inappropriate, but that is the nature of being human. Roseanne made a comment that can be interpreted as racist, but you have to interpret it that way to view it as such and unless you can prove the intent, then I think it is a lot of hoo ha about nothing all that important in the grand scheme of things.

Looking at the woman Roseanne mentioned, she does look a bit like Bonham Carter made up as a chimp. Is that racist? As far as I know she is a white English actress.
