We are all the human race.

Homo sapiens with about 2% neanderthal and Denisovan DNA.

That's about it folks.

It sounds high-minded but it is like saying:

• I don’t see a woman, We are all the human race.
• I don’t see a Frenchman, We are all the human race.
• I don’t see my friend, We are all the human race.
• I don’t see a cat, We are all the human race

As if there is something wrong with being a woman or a Frenchman or one’s friend or a cat. As if there is something so wrong in not being white that white people must somehow overlook.

You're statement means the complete opposite : You do notice colour – why else bring it up? – that in fact it is probably the only thing you do notice.

That's why you support white supermacist like Nigel Farage.

All I know is that if I'm (or any black man) is in court and they could get the death penalty and you have the final say

You see in real world...not some abstract world but in the REAL WORLD. How would you describe an black individual who just assaulted you ?

You see accepting white privilege, institutionalized racism and white supremacy as realities require you to self-evaluate but that is so emotionally uncomfortable (precisely because white people are accustomed to being the beneficiaries of racism, not its targets) that it takes a measure of ambition, courage, self-esteem to face that reality that plenty of white folks would simply rather not summon up in themselves.

The psychological cost of making movements to shatter your own racial denial is simply too high.

Nope. It’s far easier for a white person to believe that their economic success is the result of their own hard toil and that black people who complain are morally weak, racist, angry, uninterested, unmotivated, and incapable of success (outside the realm of athletics, entertainment)
