A 'disco' or 'Discotek' is not the kick arse 70s music... it is an event where recorded music is played... no one calls them discos any more... except for crappy discos ran in first schools aimed at 4-10 year olds, where music with a high amount of class such as 'The birdy song' and 'The music man' are played. So are equally credible artists... such as that one trick party band/Queen cover band 'The Darkness'

No one goes to a 'disco' in britain Lyle... we call it a disco because of the sheer cheesiness and crapyness of it... We go to a club/bar/gig same as any where else... except in 'The UK according to Lyle' (where we still love Oasis and Blur and think that the spice girls are GEORGUS (except we never did...:P) obviously... :P
