The rematch bothers me. If both fighters put on a good show people would be begging for a rematch. If someone is KO'ed in the first round then a rematch and tons of money flies out the window.

We’re going to pretend an offer is the same as a contract now? All the lies are out there man. Believe what you want, the truth has been exposed. And it didn’t take 9 days, they emailed the first day asking about date and venue. You can find it if you wish or put your head in the sand if you wish. I don’t care either way.

I think AJ and Eddie got what they wanted all along which was not the unification fight until they make some more money at home. They bottled it.

Sure, I can buy the fact that he could get some advantages, but it’s pretty clear that they were pushing everything to a point to where Wilder wouldn’t sign the contract because he was at too much of a disadvantage. Then Hearn can say “we gave him the contract and he refused to sign it so we will fight somebody else.”
