Surprisingly took the fight to Matthysse, who looks like he hasn't figured Manny out yet. Good round for Manny.

Lucas loosening up, but still Pac's round.... 2-0. Lucas threw a few wide rights that Manny easily blocked. Manny's speed confusing Lucas a bit.

Matthysse dropped early in the round! He looks inadequate at this weight. His wide right hands being easily picked off by Manny's gloves. 3-0 Pac with a 10-8 round to boot.

Stole the words right out of my mouth. Lucas would have to go for broke. But his mind/heart doesn't seem capable at this point.

Fight stopped in the 7th. Mercy stoppage, IMO. Lucas didn't want to be there in the first place.

Manny knew before he got in the ring, probably before he signed the contract that he was fighting a completely shot fighter. He had zero respect for matthysse's power from the first bell and he'd at least have given it a round or two before he started walking him down if he wasn't certain he was fighting a tomato can.

I really hope he was fed Matthysse as a way to go out with a win and he doesn't continue but he's probably skint and will want to fight on. Almost certainly he fought Matthysse to set a bigger fight up.
