The U.S. Agriculture Department on Tuesday plans to announce a $12 billion package of emergency aid for farmers caught in the midst of President Trump’s escalating trade war, two people briefed on the plan said, the latest sign that growing tensions between the United States and other countries will not end soon.
Trump ordered Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue to prepare a range of options several months ago, amid complaints from farmers that their products faced retaliatory tariffs from China and other countries. The new package of government assistance funds will be announced Tuesday and is expected to go into effect by Labor Day.

Still, some Republicans several months ago had warned against using the CCC as part of a trade-war related bailout, saying it could distort market forces and pay farmers for products they don’t produce. And there was biparitsan criticism from Republicans and Democrats on Tuesday to what the White House was trying to do. At least two Republicans said the plan equated to a type of welfare program for farmers.

Several of these countries have responded to Trump’s trade measures by imposing tariffs of their own, and farmers have complained that they are the victims of retaliation from other countries, which they rely on to sell their products. China, for example, has announced it was imposing tariffs on imports of U.S. soybeans, diverting some of its consumption to Brazilian production. U.S. farmers complained they had become victims of the trade war, but earlier Tuesday, Trump showed no signs of backing down.
In a series of Twitter posts, he touted his strategy.
“Tariffs are the greatest!” he wrote on Twitter. “Either a country which has treated the United States unfairly on Trade negotiates a fair deal, or it gets hit with Tariffs. It’s as simple as that — and everybody’s talking!”

Socialism!
I have a feeling he's going to regret having said that trade wars are good and easy to win. Wait till somebody explains to him that tariffs are actually taxes he's imposing on the American people.
FISA Applications Confirm: The FBI Relied on the Unverified Steele Dossier

I'll await your complaints about it![]()
It was over fifty pages of evidence and the Steele dossier was a footnote. Five sentences out of fifty pages and a footnote. Here's the entire footnote:

You can scroll down to read line by line what a load of shit the Nunes memo was.
Remember that Lyle? The only question was whether it was going to be ten times bigger than Watergate or 10 000 times according to Fox. It was going to blow the lid off the whole deep stae conspiracy against Trump, mass arrests of deep state actors and so on. It turned out to be one single claim that the FBI didn't tell the FISA judge that the Steele dossier had been funded by Hillary. In fact the dossier was originally funded by a big Republican donor and the Hillary campaign took over funding later on. The FBI tell the FISA judge in the footnote that the dossier was funded by somebody out to damage Trump. And it's five sentences from fifty pages!
The rest of the warrant you can read for yourself. It includes stuff like this Lyle:

Also, too ,not a word of the Steele dossier has so far been disproved. Even Steele says not all of it will eventually prove to be accurate and nobody has ever claimed the whole thing is accurate, but Steele reckons two thirds to three quarters is accurate. Of course you haven't read it but maybe you could have a quick look and contemplate if even half of it is accurate what that would mean for the Trump people.

Excessive inflation is when prices rise faster than wages. A starting job here will pay 2.1 million which is what I earned 15 years ago. Real inflation tends to be 5% and up each year. It is not rocket science to see that making that almost the minimum wage will lead to yet more inflation. It is insane too considering an entry level teacher is a little bit above cleaning a corridor. Getting towards Commie territory and capitalism gone wrong.
I love my President.
So, so, so much.
It is such a wonderful time to be alive, bros.
Every star in the galaxy is lining up for us.
Right now, you are looking right at it.
Breaking.....Denver post...fair and balanced
On Saturday, the newspaper of record in Colorado published a letter to the editor demanding the execution of President Donald Trump. The paper's opinion editor insisted that was not the author's intent, but the letter speaks for itself.
"If it walks like a traitor, and talks like a traitor, and acts like a traitor ... it is a traitor," Lakewood resident Suzanne Gagnon wrote in a letter to the editor published by The Denver Post on Saturday. Gagnon did not hesitate to suggest what should be done with "traitors" like Trump.
"Ethel and Julius Rosenberg were executed on a basis of far less evidence than is had on Trump and many in his administration," she wrote. "Besides being in agreement with the actions recommended in the editorial of July 19, I believe there are many more actions that can and should be taken against Trump to keep him from destroying the U.S."
Execution is the historic punishment for traitors, and Ethel and Julius Rosenberg were Soviet spies convicted and executed for espionage. While the Rosenbergs' children argue that their father did not deserve the death penalty and that their mother was wrongly convicted, there is a broad consensus among historians that both were guilty, but their trial was marred by clear judicial and legal improprieties. Many historians argue they should not have been executed. In the words of Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz, they were "guilty — and framed."

And who could forget this classic
President Donald Trump’s mental health might lead to the extinction of the human species, the Yale psychiatrist briefing lawmakers on the president's psychological state told Newsweek on Friday.
If it were possible, Dr. Bandy Lee said, "we would be declaring a public health emergency that needs to be responded to as quickly as possible.”
“As more time passes, we come closer to the greatest risk of danger, one that could even mean the extinction of the human species,” she said. “This is not hyperbole. This is the reality.”
After a series of tweets from Trump that appeared to threaten North Korea with nuclear war, Lee and hundreds of her colleagues at the National Coalition of Concerned Mental Health Experts issued a statement calling into question his mental health and psychological fitness for the presidency.
“Would someone from [North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's] depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!" the president tweeted on Tuesday night.

*****trump derangement syndrome***
NBC/WSJ POLL: Donald Trump’s approval rating has risen to 45%, with disapproval at 52%.
Among Republicans, 88% approve.
That’s the highest intra-party rating of any president at this stage since the dawn of modern polling, except Bush post-9/11.
