Nothing freakish about that one. Should have happened.

The reason why it did not was because it would have been a slaughter. Hence freakish dream matchup.

Jem Mace - Henry Armstrong - Stamina off the charts for both and a display of ring craft that would show how boxing moved from the fields and boots into the ring with two masters. The size difference would allow Mace to hang with one of the modern gloved greats without it being a mismatch. It's freakish because you would need two time machines.

Benny Leonard - Rocky Marciano Not so much of a freakish matchup when you realise Rocky ain't landing anything and loses on points crying into his pasta

Carmen Basilo - Floyd Jr -Offense vs running away Defense.

Lee Haskins - Johnny Nelson - 12 round Johnny Nelson fight without the usual unusual attached risk of those watching and not one of the fighters ending up in a coma

One armed Deontay Wilder - Chuck Norris - Better than a fine for wanting to see someone dead in the ring tie the gobshites main weapon away and let Chuck Rip him a new arsehole to keep the one on his shoulders company

    The Eubanks
    - Jr and Sr sort it out in the ring and then just both STFU

Carl Froch - Homes under the Hammer recurring daytine TV rematch in which we no longer have to hear how the former property developer once filled somewhere with shed loads of people praying that he would get repeatedly smacked in the mouth and then knocked out

Loma v Bruce Lee just because

    Fighting Harada - Jimmy Wilde
not freakish but what a fight
