I have electrical issues and I know other people that do though, to be fair, they are older vehicles. Mechanically I have been very happy with it. The only issue I have had was due to negligence on my part. No blindspots, but I rarely watch where I'm going anyway- not much point since I'm blind as a bat.

considering that I have worked in motor insurance for the last 15 years, I don't know how to drive, I would struggle to tell you the difference between a Skoda and a helicopter, the last time I got behind the wheel of a car was when I was about 14 and went on the bumper cars at the local fair (if I remember correctly I was drunk on vodka)
On a daily basis I tell people they are at fault for accidents when I don't have a fucking clue what I am talking about...
If I was you I would buy the most expensive one...and if you are in an accident and it isn't blatantly obvious who is at fault I would say it is a 50/50 split.

and for the record I was a demon on the bumper cars back in them days, they were called dodgems for a reason, you dodge em, them you line yourself up and smash into them with all your bodyweight, good fun the dodgems were, I reckon I gave a fair few people whiplash back in the day

Small? Mid? or Large? That's the first decision you need to make.
As far as brands, Toyota's never break down.
So if you're looking for reliability in a mid-size SUV, a 6-cylinder Toyota Highlander might fit your needs.

Could you put some pictures up so I have an idea what car you are looking for?
I enjoy car topics.
