Well you can't expect old ginger pubes to carry on fighting genuine middleweights now that he isn't allowed to eat dose god damn super cows.
Back to fighting the little blokes
What annoys me too is that Canelo has multiple good fights to be made middleweight. Maybe in a few years if he beats a few top guys in the division and Spence moves up a weight class this whole thing would make sense. They both have great options around them.
I have never been a Canelo fan, but I used to respect him a bit more. Now I have lost all respect for him.
I’m no Clanelo fan. But this thread really highlights why I started disliking GGG. Clanelo is a bad guy for wanting to fight the WW Spence but GGG who has never moved up was fine to call out a WW that started at 130. The hypocrisy is delicious.
Saul Alvarez is a world class pound for pound boxer with 49 wins against some top class opponents that has only fell short against arguably the 2 best fighters of their time in the world. If you buy all that tainted meat bullshit to boost performance even then you still have to respect that the guy is a super talent.
I think Boxing fans give him a hard time.
Say what you want about the guy but i guarantee just like me you will be tuning in to watch him fight for the rest of his career![]()

Ok I'll bite. Which WW did Golovkin call out who started out at 130? Forgive me for asking, but I don't keep up all that well on who calls out who. What I have noticed is that it's usually Golovkin on the receiving end of the "call-outs".
"So-and-so calls out GGG." "Some other guy out of the woodwork calls out GGG."
The one time Golovkin fought a woefully undersized guy was Brook, and if memory serves me correctly it was Brook who asked for and got the fight. Much like Khan with Canelo. We all know how both THOSE fights ended up.
And what's with all the insistence that GGG move up? He's neither the first, nor will he be the last guy to fight at one weight and never move up. Is that now crime or something?
Lots of fighters in the past never moved up in weight. Ducking is another matter. But if you feel comfortable at one weight and not the one above it..... what's it to the fans?
No comparison here whatsoever.
GGG has made his career at 160 and never budged. Has taken on all comers, undersized or otherwise. He rarely does the calling out. GGG's the big name, so people call HIM out.
Meanwhile, Canelo has carefully and calculatedly moved around the weights with the skill of a safe cracker. Has fought all sorts of undersized guys..... and when they do, he shows up on fight night 20+ pounds heavier.
He danced around MW with the "marinating" excuse, then brazenly took a fight at 170 with Chavez Jr. Not big enough for 160..... but fought at 170. Go figure.
Apples and oranges.
Edit: Oh ok.... someone answered. Mayweather. Hell...... everybody and their brother has called out Floyd. Money talks. Especially when there's mega millions involved.
