Jesus Chavez

So yeh Jesus Chavez has been out of the ring for over a year now
and i didnt watch the leavander johnson fight, didnt know it happned, didnt know he died but i jus read a pretty shady article which explained these facts and little more...
anyone want to clear this up for me, so was johnsons death at the hands of jesus or what?
some pretty scary stuff no?

leavander had a long career full of many wars, he took a lot of punishment over the years. this was just the final blow on his body, 11 rounds of punishment (that probably could have been stopped earlier, some people feel). I think Chavez is supposed to take on julio diaz soon? that should be a good one, diaz can fight. We'll see if the Johnson fight has affected Chavez mentally, I hope not. He is a very good and underrated fighter

yeah....sometimes these can take the wind out of a fighter.....but the ref needed to be suspended and jailed for not stopping that fight!!!

Yeah the ref neede to stop that fight, chavez loses to Julio big time though in his next fight effected or not by the Johnson fight!

yeh i like jesus hes got a good style , not afraid to take on a good fighter i like that he kinda reminds me of all the other great superfeather and lightwieght champs like barrera and castillo etc how he takes big fights and fights hard, hope hes not affected and stays on top... then again, jus like nigel benn...
nigel was never the same ofter fighting mclellan, and mclellan didnt die!!
