This is true, but I for one would like to see that Wlad a few more times.
In a weird way it did leave you wanting more, refreshing. Just wonder if it's a case of being forced to the brink. He probably can still find semi cruise control over most in division though.
Yea if he is anywhere close to his AJ performance, he can hold his own against most of the top 10.

Vitali came back after a 4 year break, so he has the genes to do it.
Man I miss Vitali now . If only Wlad picked up that beard also. He's always had great composure in a ring and more experience than most and legacy is sealed. Say a shocker happens with Povetkin or Fury..division busts wide open.

Very well said. That fight was absolutely exhilarating. AJ has not lived up to the promise of that fight as of yet. I hope he does soon.
That is harsh on AJ. He overcame an "obsessed" ex-champion who took him to the depths that he had previously not known and kept his title when he has had everything his own way. Joshua could easily have crumbled. Instead he got up and gave us a fight we will long live to remember.

Takam was a late sub and Parker was a unification against a young, hungry undefeated fighter. Very little more he can do but keep winning.

AJ beating Wlad at 41. HA! that's even worse than Marciano beating a 38 year-old Jersey Joe Walcott late in the fight.

Walcott had Marciano hurt and down on his ass. But just like Wlad he couldn't finish him.

Then youth with its tireless energy came in for the kill.
