So all arguments here are on the same side.

Everyone agrees that Ginger IS the cash cow of choice these days... and has been for awhile. Whether he wins or loses..... whether he cheats or doesn't..... it doesn't matter WHAT Ginger does, his status as cash cow is untouchable. There's another thread on this, I think. But it should hardly be a surprise to anyone. Ginger was groomed for this since Day One. Beginning with the fattened record (not on Clenbuterol, but on tomato cans in Mexico). As he was dispatching bartenders and cab drivers, the fan adoration was beginning. He's got the red-headed, boyish good looks, so why not. Captain Fishnets identified with him, having been a matinee idol type himself. And so began the relationship, with none other than JCC himself once criticizing Ginger as a fabricated phenomenon. Since he was coming up I called it..... saying he was born with a silver spoon. Once he got to 40+ fights of course the pressure began for him to face credible opposition, till he was finally gifted a fight against Floyd. We all know how that played out..... a boring shutout. Besides that, he preyed on undersized and/or old fighters..... and here we are today. Ginger can do no wrong, and his fanatical throngs of fans will follow him wherever he goes.... sort of like the boxing version of Elvis. Elvis became fat and drugged out... and he still had his loyal fans. But at least Elvis was real at one time. That would be the difference right there. Yeah..... Vegas LOVES Ginger. They'll miss him when he's gone. Then they'll do what they always do..... find another cash cow to take his place.
