So far Bika is doing way better than Lacy, he's underated IMO. Exciting fight, but he's fighting like he did before he faught lacy, over confident and cocky.

Uper on the inside by Bika. Nice left hand by Calzaghe as they exchange. One more. Bika uses the noggin again. Hard right hand by Bika. Joe walks hims down & eats a few. Shoulder to shoulder. Left & a right from Bika. Double jab from Joe. RIght hand & a lef tby Joe. CLench. Bika swingging with all he's got but misses. Nice tradde. Bika might have come out ahead of that. Left hand from Bika. Right hand by Bika to follow. TRading after the bell.

Kinda sloppy, hands way down, too cocky. I think its clear from watching some of his fights that he's inconsistent, especially when he thinks he doesn't have to worry about a guy. Assume he'll be better next time if its a big fight. But he is getting older.

Slug out. BOth men trade hard. Bika may have gotten the better there. Clench. Left hook by Joe. Pick your hands up Joe!!!! RIght by Joe & Bika cracks him back.

Shoulder to shoulder again. Joe to the body. Right hand by Joe. Double jab by Joe & then a right. Bika holds & then ripes on the inside.Left hand. Bika hitting behind the head. Warned for head again, Bika lands a combo. Joe answers back & then athey clench & get sloppy again. Lots of holding to the end. Messy.

Low blow by Bika. Joe's on his knees. He's up now. Right & left combo from Joe. Body shots from Bika. Hard ones. Bika the bigger man. Right hand from Bika. INto the ropes they go. Bika is just a ruff righter. 1-2 by Joe. Clench. RIght hand from Bika. 1-2 from Joe. Joe holds & Bika rips the body. RIght hand from Bika & Joe answers back wiht one of his own. Shoe shine flurry by Joe. Nice. 5-6 punches. RIght & then a left & then a right from Joe. Bika comes off the ropes hard but Joe won that round with those flurries.

Personally...I thought that that was a great fight.

Joe was def not pleased...but he done it right. He won. I dig on Joe & I think he takes a lot of flack from a lot of people that's unwarranted.

That was pretty sloppy IMO, obviously not what Joe wanted for his HBO debut.

But he got the win, now the Kessler fight needs to be made.

He was so exciting, it's the old joe, you can see the class, but the man is a poser, it's the way he is, against lacy he was 100% focused, until the 12th when he began to showboat. I think that was the first time since he faught Eubank whee he was 100% focused.
People who have seen Joe fight more than once will know the joe they saw tonight, and they'll also be able to spot that Bika has a great chin, great conditioning, and done well tonight.

Bernard Would have a field day with Joe...Its obvious once you mix it it up and Bully he gets flustered..Focused or not he looked ordinary at best..I give Bika a shat load of credit he hung in there and was not gonna lay back.....

I'm sorry but The Joe that was in the ring tonigh would of gotten beat by B-hop and Roy Jones jr argue it all you want Roy at 37 is faster and slicker and Nard would just rough him up...2nd time I saw Joe Fight on TV and like I said not impresed...I hope he was only fighting to th level of Bika...Joe was huffing in the corner last couple of rounds Bika was making him work

Just a weird fight all in all in my opinion....I HATE hitting in the back of the head and that cheatin bastard Bika was looking like OL Nigel in there The butts looked unitentional though on replay but very rough and you can tell Joe wasnt comfortable with it

Joe was clowning around way to much..Totally not an auspicious HBO debut...Hopefully he steps up the comp and looks focused and business like in his next fight...

It's funny how according to Calzaghe fans Bika is now a good fighter. Now he's no longer a bum. Now all of a sudden Joe fights to his opponents level. Anything to distract from Joe's performance. This fight pretty much proved 3 things to be true.

1. Calzaghe is severely overrated
2. Lacy was even more overrated than previously taught
3. Kessler would destroy Calzcrappy

To be honest...I don't think that he did all that poorly. The fighter was difficult & that's that. Maybe Joe had a bad night...if it was last night or maybe a night two years ago...people will say that he passed off a shitty performance.

The thing is...no one really knows how good Bika actually is...do they?

He was good enough to batter Beyer (as did Kessler!!! Whoooooooooo hoooooo!!!!)...he was good enough to stand toe to toe with Joe...

Before ripping Joe's performance...youv'e got two options that you should really consider above all else.

#1: Not you, not Wacko, not anyone really knows how good Bika actually is...do they? Apparently Calzaghe does.

#2: Calzaghe's come this far...& it hasn't been based just on luck. It's a shame to hear everyone rip into him.

Not that Bika was a challenge of challenges...but Calzaghe suffers from "Mayweather Syndrome".

No matter who he beats, how he wins, & what titles or belts adorn him people will always scorn him.
