I agree with the OP in that the current crop is in place to give us some great fights. My only comment is we're just now entering another era of great and exciting fights, now that Wlad's reign is over. Before that it was a decade of boring ass fights, for reasons I've stated numerous times in the past. Having said all that, I'd still put Ali, Tyson and Lewis above Fury, Wilder and AJ. But that's just my opinion, having seen all six in action.

All the 80s & 90s fighters mentioned are decades old so obviously we look back on their complete careers with great memories
The new guys have only recently started to cross paths with the top dog's still yet to meet so just sit back and enjoy.

Apparently in the wrong Country to view that video. But as stated there have been plenty of decent scraps at hvy in this 'era'. What we want and need though are for THE top showdowns to happen. I just can't picture Holyfield and Bowe or Tyson having twitter wars . We'll never get away from the comparisons and hypotheticals though as it's just normal. Fans will mostly hold the era the 'lived' first hand as a measuring stick and easiest remembered . Just have to keep perspective with changes to sport, training , nutrition and mentality etc. One day this era will be reflected on and serve as peer to heavyweight youth of the future. So goes the sport.
