The weight must have made a difference the punches that Jacobs absorbed and recovered from the knock down with.

The legal weight made a difference? This is absurd. Are you all just trolling?

I dare anyone to put their name next to saying GGG would have been heavier if not for the 2nd day weigh in. Go ahead, show your word means nothing

You're missing the point. GGG had less time to rehydrate completely because he had to remain within the restrictions of the IBF. Jacobs didn't and actually had much longer due to the earlier weigh in. If it was no big deal, then why didn't Jacob's do the 2nd day weigh in? And why would the IBF then amend this rule to eliminate any handicaps?

Answer: Because it gave Jacob's an unfair advantage in between the weigh in and the fight. No one is saying he cheated (well I'm not) but he definitely benefited from not having to be restricted by a weigh in the next day.

I'm not sure how many have had to cut weight, but it can be a b-tch, even for someone who makes 'comfortably' it ain't that comfortable. Then you know you still have to have restrictions on your intake for the next day, while your opponent is free to have a few meals and rehydrate completely.

Jacob's definitely benefit by not having to do the way in the next day.

“Saying GGG would have been heavier if not for the 2nd day weigh in” - Nick. If it makes you or anyone feel a bit happier, then it still meant something to me, bro.

Now do not get upset and be truthful to yourself.

There was a reason why Jacobs weighed heavy and that was to take the power shots.

It worked as Jacobs would have been stopped in the fight.

Jacobs made weight. Your martyr fought a man that made the MW limit. Cry for someone else

Based on last 3 of 4 fights yes. Canelo and Jacobs are arguably the best competition head and shoulders over previous opponents of last "TEN" years. Canelo made the move up to 160 at only 5' 8". Of course GGG should be able to jab the smaller man to death but he threw fewer power punches and got slightly battered by a smaller man whose manhood he challenged to fight Mexican Style. This may have been forgotten but for some reason GGG decided to be vocal leading up to the fight and probably cost himself the decision based on perception and lack of ring generalship. He surrendered ground to the smaller Canelo throughout most the rounds. No pity for GGG he fought the wrong fight and vowed he would not allow the decision to be in the judges hands and decides to jab throughout the fight. Summary : "STUPIDITY" , LOST HIS WITS AND BELTS.

Funny you say be truthful in a statement you lied in. Jacobs did not weigh heavy liar. He skipped the 2nd weigh in. Would he have been heavy, sure. But don’t change the facts for your martyr
