Ok nope and nope! Anyone walking Martinez to the ring needs to have their head checked and thats with all respect to Sergio. But when the legs-knees go thats a wrap. Do knees ever really fully recover in your mid 30's..when your game is based on movement. It's a recipe for disaster and what happened to his lucrative modeling career to make some coin? And why allow a bloated corner cutting Chavez the stage again. The last significant punch Chavez landed was the errant brick he got on Martinez..8 yrs ago. This sounds more some lazy promoter trying to short cut the way for what would be a behemoth Chavez Jr still milking the name.

Sergio should have a rematch against Cotto. They should have a senior tournament where Benn can fight Steve Collins, Ortiz v Povetkin, Briggs v Lewis.

Martinez has very slowly and secretly gone up the rankings without any one noticing.

Oh no, he's near 50 with at least one terrible knee, hopefully he doesn't get any ideas... Let him take on Chavez Jr again..
