Oh trust me Clenelo ~NEEDS~ Oscar.
Heh heh,.... "Clenelo", fuck.....
He'll never live that down.
Well this is unexpected :S.... I find this more interesting than a fight v lemieux. . It was already established that the promoters wanted another Canelo ppv this year and Saunders, deverechenko and charlo (convieniently) are al busy just now :as...it's for th fake wba title which makes it a bit gay and I won't recognize this as an actual 3rd weight class title win.but wot ever at least it isn't v lemieux who golovkin stopped and Saunders made look cap. .... they'll definently wait and see how golovkin charlo goes and could well just dodge middleweight, wouldn't be surprised if alvarez fights zurdo next year.
"fake wba title which makes it a bit gay ......"
Oh palmerq ABSO-FVCKING-LOOOOOOTLY
Canelo Alvarez moving up to 168 to face Rocky Fielding on Dec. 15 at Madison Square Garden
Fresh off a career-defining victory over Gennady Golovkin on Sept. 15, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez isn’t wasting time attempting add to his fight legacy.
Alvarez and Golden Boy Promotions announced Friday afternoon that he’ll be moving up to 168 pounds to vie for Rocky Fielding’s WBA super middleweight championship on Dec. 15 at Madison Square Garden.
From his tweet alone, “Canelo” can’t wait.
“I'm very excited to announce my next fight — December 15th at the New York MSG,” Alvarez tweeted, as translated to English from Spanish. “Taking a big challenge more in my career and representing the WBC as 160-pound champion, now I will fight for the world title for 168 pounds versus Rocky Fielding, current WBA champion!”
After Alavrez defeated “GGG” via a majority decision last month to earn the 50th win of his career, Oscar De La Hoya announced the new WBA (super), WBC, The Ring and lineal middleweight champion’s intentions of working in an additional fight before 2018 ends.
And now, we see that Alvarez plans to head into the New Year with some new hardware in tow.
As excited as Alvarez was to announce the Dec. 15 fight, Fielding was downright ecstatic, considering he’ll get to face boxing’s biggest draw in the sports’ mecca and cash in on what will sure to be his largest payday to date.
The 28-year-old Alvarez will enter the bout with a 50-1-2 (34 KOs) record, while Fielding stands at 27-1 with 15 knockouts.
As of now, there isn’t a confirmed, official word as to which network will broadcast the fight.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Some people are saying things that don’t make sense. Canelo absolutely isn’t going to DAZN as it is subscription, they don’t have the PPV platform. And PBC doesn’t have enough money? 1)that doesn’t matter because he will go to the largest PPV platform which PBC is already in bed with and 2)PBC has the largest actual boxing budget by far. For example 5 times that of DAZN for 2019
We all have our biases, but let’s take an objective look. GGG was considered a take all comers guy. At the same age GGG fought
Milton Nunez
Nilsson Julio Tapia
Kissim Ouma
Lajuan Simon
Makoto Fuchigami
Grzegorz Proska
Gabriel Rosado
Nobuhiro Ishida
From 28-32. There are obviously reasons behind that but let’s just keep it to who they fought/will fight. Does anyone really want to tie their name to saying Canelo will fight a list of opponents that weak?
People have good reason to hate Canelo but I can say with absolute confidence in the next 4 years Canelo will fight better opponents than that.
Good old Ronnie baby, making the “stats” work in favour of his argument as usual. Now Canelo’s opponents will be better in the “28-32” bracket. But GGG had only been a pro for 4 years at 28.
Now Canelo’s opponents after 4 years as a pro reads:
Antonio_Fitch
Euri Gonzales
Michel Rosales
Jefferson Gonçalo
Murat Khuzeev
Carlos Herrera
Lanardo Tyner
Doesn’t quite tell the same story does it ?
