It's not just about being full up, but with technological changes, there is simply no use for an excess supply of labour. When I was in the UK I couldn't even find cashiers at the airport. They have simply done away with even those ordinary jobs that a SERVICE BASED ECONOMY is meant to have. So no manufacturing, service vanishing and still they need more people? I think people are in for a big shock in coming decades and politicians do not understand it at all. There are too many people and nothing for them to do. Look at southern Europe with massive youth unemployment, there is no way to find them work. The world has changed. Meanwhile Africa and the Middle East keep on pumping out 5 babies per woman and want to go to the promised land. The promised lands are peaked out.I know it is politically incorrect to keep pointing this out, but this is the problem and that is not on the UK to deal with by ruining itself too. It's a dead end and a small island.
