Yes you did say that...& I have clicked you already for it.

The thing is...I didn't think that he looked ordinary...I just thought that Bika put up a hell of a fight & from the head butt cut on...Joe just couldn't be Joe.

I'm sure you disagree there...but we won't delve in to that one.

Let's do clear this up though. I have had my beliefs in Joe before the Lacy fight...so that little slap don't apply to me...but still...since you need detailed explanations to pick apart.

Roy Jones vs Calzaghe: I have always said that Joe could beat Roy...it that's a bit much for you...then I hate it. Once Roy fwocked his body over the Ruiz debacle...he's been...well...not Roy. Also...if Tarver & Johnson with their mediocre spurts of talent can destroy Jones...then yeah...it aint a stretch for me to believe that Joe Calzaghe could be Roy. Many people rip into Joe's record...but there are just as many laughable names on Jones's record as there are on Joe's. I love Roy. I think that in his day...there was nothing like him...but he lost that first fight to Tarver & he's lost every other fight since except to Prine Huh-boo-boo & if you want to rip into the man Calzaghe just fought...you need to lean in Roy's direction then.

Bernard Hopkins vs Calzaghe: It is no secret that my most favorite fighter of all time is Bernard Hopkins. I have been a Hopkins fan since, lord knows how many years...I've lost track...but I believe that to be a fan...you have to be a realist too. It pays off in the end...if you have your doubts & your guy wins when you thought he couldn't...there's that much more cause for celebration. I've stood by the Nard through everything...from his loss to Jones to his win against Tarver...which I did not believe he would do. Anywho, if Calzaghe shows up determined & focused...I'd give him a shot at beating Hopkins...but I have also stated that I believe Hopkins's jab & defensive technique would negate Joe's power & speed...there again though...I have not & will not pick a winner...I will just say that it could go either way.

Whether you want to give him credit or not...whether you want to say he's over hyped...or whatever...Joe is 42 fights in & he is undefeated...that is all the credit & confirmation needed.
