I’m replying from my smart phone also, but will follow up with a vote on my laptop when able. This is a very difficult fight for me to pick for a number of reasons. Fury is very awkward and it will be interesting to see how Wilder’s punch affects a taller man (he may lose power by losing leverage punching down). I was very surprised to see Fury beat Wlad, and while it wasn’t the prettiest or exciting fight I’ve ever seen, it makes me think that Fury can rise to the level of his competition, and much like Bhop was, he is able to tune out the boos to focus solely on getting the win.

All of that being said, I’m picking Wilder because I just think that he fights with passion and excitement that is rarely seen at the upper levels. He is fresh to the sport and fights that way, which is unpredictable and difficult to counter/defend against. He has legitimate one punch power, and is extremely athletic.

The biggest question mark, and the one that ultimately decides my pick, so what Tyson has left after his lay off and mental/drug problems. He may be one of those fighters that thrives in chaos and self destructive behavior, or he may find that his legs are not what they once were. Difficult to tell, and I think this is about as 50/50 of a fight as we can hope for, but I have lean ever so slightly towards Wilder (but won’t be upset or surprised if Fury wins also).

@mikeeod that is a cracking post I really enjoyed it very well written and very well-thought-out. Plus it also proves that @TitoFan other people cannot seem to contribute to the poll using their smartphone 😋

Yeah, you still don’t know how to vote on a poll though!

Primo, I think Brock is just hedging his bet.

By not actually putting his vote down on the poll, he's got an "out" in case he's wrong.

Too bad we've all read his 3,738 posts saying Fury KO 7.

If I could put his name down on the poll I would.

I just put down a draw. I don’t think it will be a draw, but I was just proving how easy it is to vote on your smartphone!

C'mon guys..... this is a BIG fight IF, it happens. Let's say whoever wins gets to grab a big piece of the heavyweight pie from Joshua, who so far has been dismissive of Wilder's measly WBC belt.

No matter how expert we all want to think we are.... the raw reality is anything can happen.

Get your votes in so you can have bragging rights when it's over.

Frankly, I'm excited, as Wilder proved he has a lot of grit and can dig down deep when he fought Ortiz. I think WIlder can't get to Fury after 6 rounds of trying, MAY floor him once or even twice but Fury shakes it off both times early, like in the 2nd, .......

WIlder then comes out desperate in the 7th, as he is gassing out from chasing and failing to finish The King after 18 minutes of trying increasingly desperately. He comes out in the 7th flailing like something Don Quixote would go for, and Fury ***POUNCES***

    Fury KO 7

It could happen just like you say, BUT , if Wilder decks Fury once or twice early on as you say, why would he get frustrated after only 6 rounds? Surely if he decks Fury twice in the first 6 rounds, there would be one, maybe two 10-8 rounds, and Wilder would be encouraged and prepared/happy to bide his time, would he not?

Adidas are great points he would want to bite his time being probably at least 3 points ahead on the cards after those two knockdowns but I think Wilder will be frustrated that he could not finish him and he will also really be gassing. the fact that he is gassing and could not finish him by the end of the sixth will make him want to come out and finish the job faster I think. You don't want a guy who is 6 foot 10 and 20 stone leaning on your skinny little Tommy Hearns legs from round 7 through 12

C'mon guys...... nobody for Fury by KO?

It isn't entirely impossible. If Fury comes in and performs the boxing match of a lifetime.... and Wilder is unable to solve his unorthodox style.... and if Wilder allows himself to be frustrated by Fury's tactics.... and if Fury manages to avoid The Big Shot..... (lot of "ifs" I know )...... who KNOWS..... this is heavyweight boxing. Anything could happen. I'm sticking to my prediction of Wilder by KO in Rounds 7 through 12. But surely there must be a brave soul out there who really thinks it'll be Fury by KO instead.

    Two weeks left guys.

Two weeks to one of the more anticipated HW title fights in awhile.

The only options I didn't include in the poll were pull-outs by either fighter. I know Wilder won't pull out, barring some catastrophic occurrence.

But frankly, Fury still worries me. And now with this stuff about his dad not being able to make the trip.... I don't know... could provide a handy last-minute excuse.

    So far so good, though.

We've all got our predictions (publicly or privately ). But frankly anything can happen in there. Fury can razzle and dazzle with his unorthodox skill, speed, or awkwardness (not to mention height advantage)..... or Wilder can surprise us with some skills of his own and sweep the floor with Fury. We'll just have to see.

I would expect @Alpha to put this one on the Saddo pick thread.

C'mon guys..... still time to put your votes in.
