I mean I think his competition COULD be loads better absolutely, but I also think his career could have been fucked up by him getting rushed into such challenges rather than taking his time fighting the right guys and gaining experience. I mean that too could have bit him in the ass had he slept on one of those guys which would have been really easy to do.


I think as a boxer he's been managed very well. As a commodity he's been handled poorly and marketed poorly.


Given his experience or lack there of in boxing I think he's achieved a great deal....he was never going to be George Foreman who started boxing then a year later won the gold medal then turned pro went 37-0-0 and clobbered the shit out of the undefeated undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.....but he's 40-0-0 and that isn't too shabby.


We'll see what Wilder is when he is tested vs the current BEST heavyweights, Tyson Fury should at the very least be a big challenge to him, we'll see how he handles it.
