Look at it like a crime, if you have a murder do you not investigate the crime because you have no motive? No you would investigate the clues right?

You could look at it like that, or you could take responsibility for letting them take authority over you. It's up to each individual to ask why have I been deceived? Interesting thread. It's a bit like believing in God too isn't it. There is no evidence of supernatural beings but most people believe in some way. It is interesting. Not knocking the religious by the way as I think Jesus sounded cool, I just do not get the God bit.

Just touching on movies, we have been programmed to think what space looks like, find all the space movies, books and other media that was made in the early 1950s prior to 1969, before we actually ever went to the moon. It all looks uncannily like how they portray space and the moon. The spacesuits, ships etc.

I don't believe in the god of the bible or Jesus, but I believe in a creator over the bullsh-t that is evolution.
