And didn't Floyd have an injured rib against Castillo? I don't know the whole story there.

Calzaghe is supposed to be in his prime and didn't seem to have an injury against Bika. I just think Joe fought down to the level of his opposition and didn't look as dedicated which isn't a good thing as far as long as he should be. Thats all I was saying.
Before I say this...I want to make it clear that I'm not lashing out at you in particular Majesty...but I want to address the above statements you made.

Hopkins also had a hard time with a few others...Echols comes to mind first. Floyd had spots of trouble with Corley...rib or no rib...he had some trouble with Castillo...again the point is that all fighters do not ace it in every fight.

If injuries do excuse fighters...Calzaghe is always fighting with brittle hands...which this go around bothered him again...but it's no excuse.

Now...that being said...all this shit talking about Calzaghe is dispicable.

I'm not shittin you people...it's ridiculous.

Truly...I just don't get some of you. It's almost as if you just want to hate for the sake of hating.

You all act like Calzaghe lost or that this was the worst performance that all of you have ever seen.

Maybe it's because he totally annihilated Lacy & didn't just blast Bika out of the water...either way...it's still bullshit. The guy's undefeated in 42 fights & he guts it out no matter what to gain the win.

Watching the fight again...there were only a couple of rounds that I thought Bika actually won...while I did think he put up a fight...in the end...he still lost. I just can't believe that people are tearing into him over a win...especially one that wasn't covered in controversy.
