Yeah I agree (although he overestimated his worth a little at that time) but it also says alot about Hopkins that he would rather fight Joppy, Hakkar etc for a few hundred thousand dollars than accept a massive career highest pay day to get revenge on the only man to have beat him (give the debut a swerve ) because he wouldn't accept a 40/60 split....he accepted $2.5m to Trinidads $9m

Anyway, obviously it worked out for him in the end earning the $10m for duffing up a little welterweight
