Sh-t sorry mate, I thought you already knew how to enter that 'deadeye' mode. Click down both analog sticks (L3, R3).

Use it while you're riding around to find herbs, dream catchers, rock face paintings etc.

I did a few hours yesterday - now on 40 % !

Killed the beaver and the boar - though lost the boar skin and he never showed up at trapper ?!?

I am now at wanted level with filth everywhere looking for me but have no option to pay off bounties as stations are locked to me - anyone any idea what to do in this situation ??

Are you sure you don't have a mask on when going to the station? I had something like a $20 bounty and went to every station on the map to try and pay it off before I realised they won't speak to you if your face is covered

Ah I might have done - I'd had it on for a bank job about an hour before but done loads since then. Maybe I never took it off - though I had been to the fence and trapper since ?

The post office is just locked and shows with a padlock icon ?

By the way do you ever do any shooting without dead eye ? I'm at stage now I use it then take a jolly jack mid fight to top it up and keep using it

I rarely use dead eye, just hit the L2 button and it auto aims at the chest area and then just tap the right analogue stick up slightly and boom majority of the time you have a headshot

ah yes that will be why - I don't use auto aim except on horseback.

You should try with free aim......

This game has taught me how not only to play poker but win big as well

but it's true. Has anyone else found a train mid robbery? I seem to now have three that were being robbed and the crews ran off so I stacked them up? Amazing your horse follows along as you plow through. I was randomly attacked by a deer when I was fishing. He full on hit me from behind, did a dance and ran off into the trees. Finally figured out 'perfect' hides and what to use.
